Chapter 1: Reborn Back to the Age of Thirteen Part 2
When it got dark, tables had already been set up outside.
The door creaked and opened again. This time it was her father Su Changrong who came in.
At present, his father, Su Changrong, hadn't been hunched by the pressure of life, and his back was still straight. Although he was thinner, but he was very energetic.
Su Min looked at his father in front of him, and the resentment from her previous life disappeared instantly. "Dad."
In her previous life, she really blamed her father for being useless. He didn't resist when her grandparents oppressed him, and he didn't give her and her mother a good life, which led to the poor life they lived in. But it wasn't until her father died that she realized that all the resentment was not as important as being together as a family.
Su Changrong had been working outside for a day, and as soon as he came back, he hurried to see his daughter. He thought that her daughter would hate him like before. He didn't expect that she would take the initiative to call him now. He was overjoyed, and a smile appeared on his honest face, "Minzi, what's the matter? Are you still dizzy?"
"Not dizzy anymore." Su Min shook her head and with red eyes looked at her father almost greedily, "Dad."
"Hey." Su Changrong's face smiled more brightly. "If you don't feel dizzy, go out for dinner. I caught a fish in the field today, and we'll eat it tonight."
"Changrong, what are you doing? Come out to move the table." Old man Su shouted outside.
Su Changrong quickly got up and went out to help set the table.
The Su family had three sons and a daughter. The youngest daughter, Su Lan, was beautiful and married into the town. The third son went to college and started a family outside. The eldest Su Changrong, and the second eldest, Su Changfu, both live at home. Because there is no spare house, the family is crowded together without separation. Usually, the income of the family is kept by the old couple, and they eat together.
When Su Min got dressed and left the room, the tables were already full of people.
Sun Quifang came in with a bowl of rice, saw Su Min coming out, quickly put the rice on the table, and greeted her, "Minzi is up, hurry up and eat."
"It's really like a half-year-old child who starved to death. She just ate in the afternoon but got hungry in the evening." Su Min was about to go, when Su Changfu's wife, Li Yulan, said strangely.
When Sun Quifang heard this, her expression changed. Su Min ignored it, and went directly to pull Sun Qiufang to sit on the chair for dinner.
An eleven or twelve year-old boy sitting next to her immediately pouted after hearing this, "I want to eat egg noodles too. Why can she eat it? I haven't eaten it." Su Min remembered that this was Su Can, the son of his second uncle, Su Changfu.
"What are you demanding about?" Li Yulan patted Su Can's head, "They have that kind of life. Do you have it? Eat fish quickly." She said, holding a large piece of fish belly with chopstick and put it in the boy's bowl.
Grandma Su's dry face immediately wrinkled severely. "He can eat whatever he wants. Why hit him?"
With that, he gave the rest of the fish belly to Su Can.
Sun Qiufang looked at the small amount of fish in the bowl and stretched out her chopsticks to put some on Su Min's bowl.
Grandma Su's face suddenly collapsed, "You already ate an egg and still eat fish. Cancan is now growing up, as a big sister, why are you still robbing his food?" And a girl is also for other people families.
Su Min looked at the old lady, she's still the same as she remembered. Her face was kind to outsiders, but not to her granddaughter. Just because she is a girl and they think that girl only waste money.
Thinking of the grievances of her previous life, she squeezed her chopsticks tightly, gritted her teeth, picked up a fish in front of Grandma Su, and ate it with a big bite.
"What are you doing? I just said it. You're deliberately doing it, aren't you?" Grandma Su simply put down her chopsticks, her sharp and thin face was full of anger.
The old man Su next to him was also unhappy and said, "Changrong, as a father, you should discipline your girl. What with this attitude?"
Su Changrong listened with a heavy heart and looked at Sun Qiufang, who was already stiff-faced. He didn't say anything. Thinking that the fish was caught by himself, and her daughter should eat more. What's wrong with it?
Su Min didn't care what they said and thought. She just keep eating by herself.
Looking at her like this, the old lady was very angry. She pointed to Sun Qiufang and said,"Look at the child you raised. The older she gets, the more ignorant she become. And she's already thirteen years old but she doesn't know how to love his younger brother. Don't go to school just work at home. Anyway, a girl will become someone's else family!"
(brother or sister - not a biological siblings but cousins in the father side)
"Mom, it's not a big deal for Minzi to eat fish. I'll pay attention in the future and catch fish again, just let everyone have a good meal." Su Changrong said while pleading.
Sun Qiufang also protected her daughter, "Minzi is sick. Can't she eat something to make up for it?"
"Hmph! You still have the face to talk about her illness." Grandma Su finally found a reason and stared at Sun Qiufang with a cold face, "The old man gave his job to Changfu. But you're so upset that you have to go back at your mother's house? If you didn't make such a fuss, would Minzi be sick?"
